But many factories produced counterfeit products in order to make high profits in a very short time. Nowadays, not only Chinese market is full of fake products, but also including the international market(such as the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia). Administration has already received many complains from domestic and overseas and started to strictly check all Choline Chloride's factories, we believe that this problem will be solved soon. Actually, there are only two ways to produce the counterfeit product i.e. forgo according to target which the testing method aimed at. One way is to increase contents of Chloric Ion and the other way is to increase contents of Nitrogen Ion. The simplest discriminance is to adopt PHLC Testing Method i.e. Chromatography to inspect, nonetheless, as the PHLC Testing Method's equipment is comparatively expensive, many areas can not equip these machineries. Therefore, we hereby to introduce you some easy and convenient discriminances for your reference: Choline Chloride Dust is white or amber dry fluidness powder or granuler which has strongly Hygroscopic Power and special odorous smell. Moreover it can absorb CO 2 and H 2 O in the air and exhales ammonia smell. 1. Compare the result of Chloric Ion Testing Method with the result of Nitrogen Ion Testing Method. If the tested content of using Chloric Ion Testing Method is obviously higher than the tested content of using Nitrogen Ion Testing Method , it means possibly that the product is soaked with Sodium Chloride, Kalium Chloride and etc. If the result is to the contrary, it is possibly soaked with Nitrate and Nitrite. In addition, if added Sodium Chloride, it tastes saline; if added Nitrate products, it tastes and touches cauterized. It was said that some factories located in Hebei, Guangzhou, Jining area probably adopt adding Sodium Chloride, Kalium Chloride, Nitrate, Nitrite and other substances to increase the content of Chloric Ion, for getting the purpose of making bad products. 2. To adopt International Non Aqueous Titration to compare with Nitrogen Ion Testing Method or Chloric Ion Testing Method and Sodium Tetraphenylborate Testing Method . Normally if the tested result of using Sodium Tetraphenylborate Testing Method is lower that others, it means that product is added Urea, Aldehyde and Carbamide Polymer. If product is added Urea, after heating, there is ammonia smell spill out. It was said that some factories located in Henan, Jining area probably adopt adding adding Urea, Aldehyde and Carbamide Polymer to increase the content of Nitrogen Ion, for getting the purpose of making bad products. 3. Discriminance for adding Acetoform: put Sample 3-5g into 100ml triangle flask £¬ add in hot water of 60-70 ¡æ , vibrantly shake for 1 to 2 minutes, filter, put 1ml oil of vitriol solution into filtrate, then set on electric stove for heating, after boiling, take the filter paper stained ammonia silver nitrate or sodium reagent paper slice to inspect. If the vapour make the filter paper black, it means there is formaldehyde spill out. After several minutes boiling, put overrun alkali to boil. Afterwards, use the moist litmus (or PH) filter paper to test whether there is nitrogen gas spilling out . If the filter paper becomes blue, it means there is acetoform soaked. 4. To use 1:1 Hydrochloride Acid Titration, it accrues bubble in a large quantity, it means product was soaked Calcium Carbonate for increasing weight.
